Our Accommodation

Huis Nuweland is an intimate home for all retirees, single individuals and/or couples, and we are situated in one of the most beautiful, safe and leafy areas in the Southern Suburbs: Upper Claremont. The mountain views from our Home and/or from the streets when we stroll around the block, is quite simply put, spectacular!

Our different flats and rooms, in all sections of the Huis Nuweland retirement home, are located in one building bordering Sylvia, Eden and Alma Roads in Upper Claremont.

Care Centre Rooms

Do you struggle to take care of mom, dad, or family member (on a daily basis) who perhaps requires 24-hours basic care? Do you yourself have a need for more regular care and assistance? Here at Huis Nuweland, we offer you rooms equipped with built-in cupboards, hand basins in all rooms, and ample space. Our bathrooms are shared amongst our residents with a sunroom/lounge to enjoy all our fun activities. Here our residents are in a safe, happy, form new friendships, and enjoy the homely environment with peers.

In The Pipeline

We are actively working on a future ‘Day Care’ offering and investigating a ‘Step-down’ facility. For now, we have shift workers on site (24/7/365) and one member of senior management on most nights and a member of the Admin staff (mostly our Operations Manager) on 24/7 call/stand-by if gate motors fail, or a pipe bursts in the garden, or for some other unforeseen event.
