The manager and his team, continues to bring real and honest love into this Home. I’ve been here for nearly 17 years, and it just gets better by the day. Every resident here is happy and once they settle in, they are, like me, here to stay!

This Home welcomed me with open arms. I love the space that I’m given to live my life the way I want to, treating others with respect and getting the same back. Our management and staff at Huis Nuweland are truly committed, friendly, caring and they always go the extra mile to make us feel worthy and respected.

I love sitting outside, reading my books, normally in a sunny spot, or in our special front garden area, loved by us all. I feel privileged to spend my latter years here.

The best, smallest and most loving, retirement facility around! They give extraordinary care, entertainment for the elderly and Anthea’s food is simply excellent. I’m so glad I moved to this city, this suburb and this retirement home!

I’ve been a resident in Huis Nuweland for many years and love how I, although I’m living in the Care Centre, can still partake in cards and games and the movie club; hosted in the independent section of the Home.

Huis Nuweland is goed vir ons en het ons met liefde ontvang and verwelkom in hul midde. Dit was moeilik vir my en Claudette om af te skaal, maar gewis die regte ding op die regte tyd. Ons voel werlik tuis, elke keer wanneer ons terugkeer na ons woonstel.

As a musician, I love the fact that we can easily get a choir together to sing at a special event. In our big hall (next to the dining room) and in the sunroom in our Care Centre, we have pianos that are available to use. Believe me, there are talented singers here!

I recently move into Huis Nuweland from KZN and love everything about this place. Here, I found myself again. I love my ‘continued’ independence and don’t use Uber, and don’t have a car anymore.
