Do you struggle to take care of mom, dad, or family member (on a daily basis) who perhaps requires 24-hours basic care? Do you yourself have a need for more regular care and assistance?
Here at Huis Nuweland, we offer you rooms equipped with built-in cupboards, hand basins in all rooms, and ample space. Our bathrooms are shared amongst our residents with a sunroom/lounge to enjoy all our fun activities. Here our residents are in a safe, happy, form new friendships, and enjoy the homely environment with peers.
- Free Wi-Fi 24/7/365
- Solar panels and Lithium Batteries/Inverter to counter loadshedding (all lights, Wi-Fi and certain key components keep going through loadshedding)
- ADT site office: across Eden Rd, c/o Eden and Alma Roads
- Regular ADT rounds
- Basic Care – 24/7
- Nightly rounds – (2-hourly)
- Full catering bouquet
- Three (3) meals a day
- Morning & Afternoon Tea
- Late night Hot Milo & Snack
- Panic Button/Nurse Call remotes and more
- Security cameras in all common areas/sitting areas/passages/outsides drive-through on 24/7 basis
- At least 3 staff members (one a senior nurse that is the Shift Leader) in this section of the Home every night
